This month has been dedicated to bringing the latest Web App improvements to iOS.

After several weeks of development, testing, and bug fixing, the final blocking issue was resolved last night. If everything goes as planned, the new iOS update will begin rolling out over the next few days, bringing many of the latest MindNote features to mobile.

🎥 Embedded Media Support

MindNote for iOS now supports embedded videos and audio directly inside notes.
YouTube videos, SoundCloud tracks, and other supported media can now be viewed and played without leaving your workspace, making notes more interactive and better suited for learning, research, and collaboration.

📄 OCR Now Supports PDFs

PDF OCR has now arrived on iOS.
Large PDF documents can be uploaded and processed directly, making it possible to extract text from books, research papers, reports, manuals, and lengthy documents while maintaining a smooth workflow on mobile devices.

✍️ Handwritten OCR

MindNote can recognize a wide variety of handwriting styles including cursive, printed handwriting, and mixed handwritten notes making it easier to digitize notebooks, meeting notes, and scanned documents.

🧠 Context-Aware Notes

Previous notes and related information can now be referenced directly inside AI workflows, allowing responses to better understand existing context, writing style, terminology, and ongoing projects.

As more notes are created over time, MindNote continues learning the context behind personal workflows, helping future AI responses become increasingly consistent and personalized.

📝 Toggle View Modified with AI

The option to show or hide AI modifications has also been added to iOS.

This provides greater control over the editing experience, allowing users to decide when AI changes should be visible while reviewing or writing documents.

🎨 Text Formatting Improvements

The editor has received several usability improvements across iOS.
Updates include:

Unlimited lines support
Tables
Expanded text editing options and formatting tools
General UI/UX refinements and bug fixes for a smoother editing experience
Better font contrast and readability
Enhanced rich text editing
Improved editor responsiveness
Performance improvements and bug fixes

These changes create a cleaner and more polished writing experience throughout the app.

Artizen Campaign Update

Two weeks ago, MindNote launched its first campaign on Artizen to support ongoing research and development.

Thanks to everyone who has already participated, the campaign has now raised $7,574, helping support the long-term vision of Brain-to-Text technology.

Every artifact purchased is currently matched 1:1, doubling the impact of each contribution. Reaching one of the top campaign positions could also unlock additional funding for future development.
